What is Rivkin Global?

Rivkin has been providing global trading advice to members since late 2009. Rivkin Global employs technical analysis to formulate trade ideas and provides specific recommendations on global equities, indices, commodities and foreign exchange (FX). These recommendations are subsequently presented to members in a simple and concise format, enabling them to easily follow and implement the advice.

Technical analysis is the study of price and volume, predominantly via the use of charts, to forecast future price movements and formulate trades with defined stop loss points. This allows Rivkin Global to calculate and rank all potential trades according to risk versus return. And using CFDs (contracts for difference), we are able to formulate trades from among thousands of different global financial instruments, as well as many ASX listed stocks, sectors and indices.

Importantly, Rivkin Global is able to take either a positive or a negative view on global markets, with CFDs enabling members to make money not only from rising markets, but from falling markets too. This ability to profit from all market cycles is invaluable in a world of increasingly volatile and uncertain global financial markets.

To take the guesswork out of things, Rivkin Global’s trading recommendations state exactly what to buy or sell, the volume to trade (in relation to members’ risk appetite), the method of entry, the entry price, a stop loss price, and occasionally a target price. As an example, we might seek to sell the Australian dollar versus the US dollar. This recommendation may present like this: Our recommendation is to short $50,000 AUDUSD on a stop entry of 1.0356, with a stop loss at 1.0448.

Rivkin Global has the luxury of not having to make predictions about the direction of the broader market, or the general state of the global economy. Rather, we seek simply to identify short-term trends in specific financial instruments, and capture the profits available from following such trends. And with strict stop losses in place and risk minimisation a priority, profits can be made while assuming minimal risk.

Rivkin does not provide advice that takes into account your, or anybody else's, investment objectives, financial situation or needs. We strongly suggest that you consult an independent, licenced financial advisor before acting upon any information contained on this website. Investing in and trading securities (such as shares listed on the ASX) and/or derivatives (such as Contracts for Difference or 'CFDs') carry financial risks. CFDs carry with them various additional risks that differ from more simple securities such as fully-paid company shares. Some of these risks include not owning the underlying instrument from which a price is being derived, settling trades 'over the counter' with a financial institution rather than on a stock exchange, and using leverage to gain access to trades that may have a higher face value than your initial deposit. This risk of leverage means that it is possible to lose more than your initial investment. Our aim is to create more life choices for our clients, which means improving the wealth of clients throughout many market cycles by nurturing a relationship spanning many years. If you are not comfortable with your understanding of the risks involved before using a Rivkin product and service, please contact our office to seek further information or a Product Disclosure Statement, or make an appointment to sit with one of our friendly financial experts. It is in our interest for your Rivkin experience to be a rewarding and comfortable one.
